Jennie aged just 10 at the time, began using the Finch Windmill which was a hand conditioning device that was invented by Doug. During high school Jennie threw six flawless games and 13 no-hitters. Then she went to University of Arizona, where as a pitcher, and a first baseman, she was all-time All-American three times. In 2001, when her Wildcats team won the National Championship title as well as in 2002, she won the Honda Award for the best softball player in the United States.
